Crown B Ranch kicks their 2025 season off in Tucson, Az at Pima County Fairgrounds for the Spring Fling 5D & Slot Race.
Tarryn Lee clenched the 1D Average win aboard her horse Too Much Fame. Tarry Lee a professional cowgirl and a member of the Women’s Pro Rodeo Association knows what it takes to win and quite arguably so does her horse. Running a 15.393 Saturday to take 3rd in the 2D while winning $499.00. She came back Sunday with a 15.122 to win 3rd in the 1D and $552.00.
The two finished the weekend off with a 30.515 on 2 to take home the Open Average Championship and a beautiful new buckle with a total earnings of $1,051.00 for her weekend.
Not only did Tarryn Lee win on one of her horses but on TWO!
Winning the 1D Open on her main mount Sadie’s Ace In The Hole “Ace” to take home $989.00

TOP MONEY EARNER Makayla Pierce wins the Slot, Futurity , & Derby!
Well it sure was a great weekend for Makayla Pierce and her string of horses.
Makayla Pierce had a phenomenal weekend taking home the Average Championship title in the 1D Derby, 1D Futurity , and the 1D Slot Average. Taking home a total of $5,235.00.
Treis Americanos wins the 1D Futurity. Treis Americanos owned by Miles & Alicia Warner of Wyoming riden by Pierce. Affectionately called “Ken” a big sorrel who has spent the last few years in Makayla’s training program in hopes for his Futurity year debute which they in fact have done. The duo has been quite successful in the start of his Futurity year. Treis Americanos had two clean runs, Saturday running a 15.625 and Sunday a 15.377 to Average a 31.002 on 2 closing the gap a little over one hundredth of a second with Makayla’s personal Futurity horse Porch Swing Angel coming in reserve championship with a 31.173 on 2. Treis Americano also took home the 6th hole in the 1D Slot Race Average. Treis Americanos is surely shaping up to be quite the contender with his jockey.
KB Make No Mistake also ridden by Pierce take home the 1D Derby Average. These two had very consistent runs, running a 15.307 Saturday and a 15.308 on Sunday finishing a 30.615 on 2. KB Make No Mistake also won the 1D Slot Race Average taking home another $1567.00.
Congratulations to Ms.Pierce and her very impressive line up of horse power. We look forward to watching these teams finish strong in 2025!
